The designated person for Safeguarding at Roundwood School is Kirsty Eales.

The deputy designated person for Safeguarding at Roundwood School is Lucy McFarlane.

The Governor responsible for safeguarding is Carmen Jones.

If you have any concerns regarding the safety of a child or a family at the school, please speak to either Mrs Eales or Mrs McFarlane.

The school takes recruitment very seriously.  Part of the process is focused on Safer Recruitment and is always part of an interview and checking process.  The following members of the school have completed Safer Recruitment Training:  Kirsty Eales – Headteacher; Claire Groves – Governor.

All of our staff regularly update their safeguarding training.  For example, Identifying Signs of Concern – May 2015, Prevent Training – February 2016.

All staff will be updating their safeguarding training in May 2018 as part of the statutory time frame. Mrs Eales updates her training yearly.
